Ross & Moncure is a boutique public accounting firm in Old Town Alexandria. With a staff of only fifteen, Ross & Moncure is known throughout the Washington metropolitan area for its specialty in the taxation of multinationals, journalists, and those in the media or intellectual property industries. While many tax preparers are able to help clients navigate the many US reporting requirements, clients return to Ross & Moncure year after year because of its staff's commitment to service and its consultants' extensive knowledge of the 66 bilateral income tax treaties between the United States and other countries.
Ross & Moncure has made a conscious decision to stay small. This allows our consultants to ensure that all products meet our high professional standards.

- You will work with the same tax preparer each year. Larger firms have such high rates of turnover and internal mobility that clients deal with a different tax professional each time that they use the firm.
- Tax returns are never prepared by recent graduates with little industry knowledge. All returns are prepared or extensively reviewed by our principals, who have 40, 40, 30, 15, and ten years of experience in the field.
- We help manage clients' financial affairs from cradle to grave. If a client desires for us to do so, we obtain the Power of Attorney to file tax returns on their behalf; we, in the case of clients living abroad, offer to receive bank statements and other financial documents in their absence; and, we have close working relationships with several wealth management firms, law firms, and a local bank.
